Privacy Statement

As a web site dedicated to career exploration and employment, Mazemaster balances privacy concerns with users' requirements to make their qualifications and availability known to potential employers and/or Mazemaster staff for the purpose of creating a personal user profile.

The Mazemaster web site collects personal data about a user only when the user specifically and knowingly provides it to us. It is the intent of Mazemaster to let you know before it collects personal information from you at all times.

To provide our users/visitors with greater value, we need to gain some basic information from them such as name and email address. For this reason, all users/visitors are encouraged to "Join Us".

If you choose to register and "Join Us" by providing personal information we may need via the Internet in order to personalize your experience using Mazemaster, or for such other purposes as are described at any point where we collect this information/data from you, it is our intent to let you know how we will use such information. If you tell us that you do not wish to have this information used as a basis for further contact with you, we will respect your wishes.

Please note: In order to take advantage of our Save feature which personalizes your experience using Mazemaster by allowings users to save the results of the activities performed on Mazemaster, a user will be required to register in our "Join Us" section.

Because Mazemaster is a federally funded project, it does keep track of the domains from which people visit us. We analyze this data in aggregate only for trends and statistics. This information is not stored with any of your personal data. We may make aggregate information (e.g. overall statisitics) available to third parties for advertising and other purposes. Information that personally identifies you will be kept strictly confidential unless you specifically authorize it to be made available, as in the case of user profiles, resumes and cover letters.

The Mazemaster web site contains links to other Web sites. Mazemaster and it's funders, sponsors and affiliates are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.

If we decide to change our privacy commitment for Mazemaster, we will post those changes here so that you will always know sshat information we gather, how we might use that information, and whether we will disclose it to anyone.
