Making Eye Contact
Always
look the interviewer in the eye when shaking hands and introducing
yourself. It is also important to maintain positive eye contact
throughout the interview. You are not trying to "stare down" the
interviewer, but trying to show him/her that you are interested
in the conversation, that you are secure, confident and have self-esteem.
Poor
eye contact during the interview can send negative messages to the
interviewer that you are scared, disinterested, insecure, nervous
or lacking in self-esteem and confidence.
