Unlawful Questions

What is the employer’s/interviewer’s responsibility?

1. It is ultimately the responsibility of the employer/interviewer to know the law, but this may not always be the case.
   
2. If you are asked an unlawful question at a job interview, remember that some employers might not know what questions are inappropriate.
   
3. Most employers are aware of unlawful questions and therefore won’t ask them, but you should be aware of these types of questions and know how to handle yourself if asked.
