Unlawful Questions
What is the employer’s/interviewer’s
responsibility?
- It is ultimately the responsibility
of the employer/interviewer to know the law, but this may not always be the case.
- If you are asked an unlawful
question at a job interview, remember that some employers might not know what
questions are inappropriate.
- Most employers are aware
of unlawful questions and therefore won’t ask them, but you should be aware
of these types of questions and know how to handle yourself if asked.
