EDUCATION
Workers in this group usually have a High School Diploma combined with the completion of a four year Motor Vehicle Mechanic Apprenticeship Program or a combination of over four years work experience and High School, College or industry courses in automotive technology.

As the crime rate is steadily rising, concerns about personal security have prompted the demand for more security guards.

People in this occupation usually need some High School education or completion of a College diploma in a related discipline.

Chefs who can prepare a variety of specialty foods ranging from "low fat" to "ethnic" cuisine will increasingly be in demand.

Chefs must complete a College program in cooking or a three year apprenticeship.

This is currently one of the areas of strongest employment growth. It includes a wide variety of occupations many of which involve services to businesses or personal services.
