already developed the basic skills of networking without even

What’s the latest gossip? The answer is obvious: through
word of mouth, advertising and research. This is done by:

on the internet,
- Calling
for information.

can be used when looking for a job! First things first…
get organized. Use these tips to get you started:
- You need to
develop a list of people and companies to contact. Start
with names of people and companies you already know. You
many want create a list to record the steps you’ve
taken. Researching companies on the internet can also be
quick and easy.
- Once
your list is complied, you need to choose a method of making
contact for each person or company you have listed.
Remember, the more people you contact the better your chances
of landing a job.
- Develop a green
thumb. Networking is like planting seeds in a garden. In
order for your network of contacts to grow, you will need
to nurture your garden. Therefore, with proper care, or
in this case follow-up, make sure to send them a note thanking
them for their time
